Recent historical records have found that this strain of 'America' is different to the original, raised in California and introduced in 1896. So this has been renamed 'Turral's America'. It has more white than the original America which has been identified as 'Queen of the Isles'. Queen of the Isles has been renamed 'America'.
All our seed is hand harvested from plants grown in East Anglia.
