Award of Garden Merit Sweet Pea Collection
The RHS awards their prestigious accolade Award of Garden Merit "AGM" to plants which are excellent for ordinary use in appropriate conditions. These awards are intended to help gardeners choose plants that are likely to perform well.
Phil Johnson, breeder, author and sweet pea expert was chairman of the recent selection committee at the sweet pea trials at RHS Wisley . This collection contains his top picks from sweet peas holding the AGM. The trial focused on grandiflora types because they are easy to grow, and produce masses of highly scented flowers.
The 6 varieties in this collection are Sweet Caroline*, Sicilian Pink, Fire & Ice, Chrissie, Valentine, & Cedric Morris.
