Sweet Pea Turquoise Lagoon
Like nothing else! All at the same time your plants will show colours of purple, lilac, mauve, pale and iridescent blue and turquoise. The earliest flowers are pink/mauve and as they develop they shift and morph through bright shades of blue. Bred by Keith Hammett and created from cross breeding with Lathyrus belinensis, this is part of a new class of plants called Lathyrus x hammetti.
A shorter, more delicate plant that the classic sweet pea. The seeds are also smaller than the normal sweet pea and often have split coats so they look a bit different. The split coats aid fast germination.
Also available as click & collection plants in April from Maldon, Essex or Great Dixter, Sussex
All our seed is hand harvested from plants grown in East Anglia.
